Job Summary

Applied Materials has an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Legal Operations team. The Ironclad Administrator and Technologist will support Legal and Business teams throughout the full lifecycle of contracts. This role focuses on administrating legal technology platforms (primarily Ironclad CLM), optimizing workflows for operational efficiency and end-user experience, and partnering across the organization to ensure success. This role will also support legal-related technology platforms such as corporate wide risk management and compliance tools, i.e., One Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrate Ironclad CLM, including user management, permissions, workflow configuration, and integrations.
  • Develop and modify workflows to meet evolving business needs and standards.
  • Partner with Legal, Sales, Finance, and Procurement to streamline contract processes and improve user experience (UX).
  • Create and modify CLM metrics and deliver usage reports; recommend improvements to reduce friction.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate with vendor support for resolution.
  • Maintain governance and configuration documentation to ensure scalable and repeatable processes.
  • Develop and implement new workflows within or integration with CLM to meet future needs.
  • Continually validate data integrity of repository and reporting thereof.
  • Assist in administration and maintenance of legal technology stack to ensure continued optimal performance, value, and evolution.

Required Qualifications-4 - 8 Years years administrating SaaS platforms (legal tech or enterprise apps).

  • Hands-on experience with Ironclad CLM or similar contract lifecycle management tools.
  • Strong workflow design skills (conditional approvals, metadata/properties, governance).
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Service Now and Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with basic legal concepts and contract terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for global collaboration.
  • Adept and proficient working independently as well as collaboratively across the organization.
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to support projects and team members as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and technology support teams (internal and external) in a timely, productive manner.

Preferred Qualifications- Experience in semiconductor or global manufacturing environments.

  • Exposure to identity governance tools (e.g., Sail Point) and SSO/SAML processes.
  • Application Programming Interfaces (API) to automate tasks and integrate between solutions.
  • Comfort with analytics and reporting for operational continuous improvement.
  • Experience with One Trust or a similar corporate wide risk management and compliance tool.
  • Experience with other Microsoft 365 technologies (e.g., PowerBI, Power Automate)
  • Passion for AI technologies and their responsible use in the legal space to drive productivity and innovation.
  • Experience supporting and adapting technology for a global legal organization.

Working Conditions

  • Primary hours aligned to Pacific Time; full-time in-office if located in Santa Clara.
  • Occasional global collaboration outside core hours.
