Python Automation Engineer Location Mumbai

We are looking for a QA Engineer with expertise in both manual and automation testing using Python, Selenium, and Git. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and bug reporting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, ensuring their resolution and delivering high-quality software to our customers.

Primary Skills:

• Minimum 4 -7years of Proven work experience in SW development or QA.

• Proven work experience in Python and Selenium.

• Experience in writing or enhancing test plan, methodologies and framework– including interpretation of functional and non-functional requirements and translation into appropriate test plans, scenarios etc.

• Have a broad view of the application, architecture, and system integrations.

• Strong experience with debugging and isolating defects.

• Experienced in Agile or scrum development methodologies.

• Experience in doing performance testing and benchmarking using tools available.

• Good to have experience with DevOps tools.

• Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar role with strong programming skills in Python.

• Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks and scripts in using test automation tools, such as Selenium Web Driver.

• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Exposure to SW System design and performance testing, integration testing, chaos testing, etc.

Roles and Responsibility:

• Develop and implement test automation strategies, frameworks, and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and identify areas suitable for automation.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and programming languages.

• Execute automated test scripts, analyze test results, and report any issues or defects.

• Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritization activities.

• Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure proper test coverage and timely resolution of issues.

• Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes and frameworks.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation.

• Collaborate with other testers to ensure a seamless integration of automated and manual testing efforts.

• Provide support and guidance to the QA team on manual and test automation techniques and best practices.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
