About the Role The Validation Engineer (Software QA) is responsible for ensuring high-quality delivery of complex software systems through feature testing, system and subsystem integration, regression testing, and NR(night runs) analysis. The role works closely with development, integration, manufacturing, and field teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements:

· Partner with software development during design and implementation to provide risk assessment and ensure compliance with specifications.

· Design, document, and execute test plans, test procedures, and qualification activities for features, and full systems.

· Perform feature validation, regression testing, and system-level testing; analyze results and recommend corrective actions.

· Lead and execute on‑tool and off‑tool system testing.

· Investigate and drive resolution of regressions testing and Night Runs, using logs, traces, and system data.

· Serve as a 3rd‑level escalation focal point for field issues and manufacturing matters within the domain.

· Provide ongoing quality and integration feedback to R&D; contribute to calibration, maintenance, and test utilities when required.

Qualifications & Skills

· B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

· 3+ years of experience in software validation, QA, or system testing of complex products.

· Strong experience with feature testing, system integration, regression testing, and defect analysis.

· Hands-on experience working in Windows and Linux environments.

· Scripting or automation experience (Python preferred).

· Ability to analyze logs, reproduce issues, and work closely with development teams to resolve defects.

· Familiarity with test documentation, test management tools, and version control (e.g., Jira, Git).

· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear technical communication.

· Works independently with limited supervision and within broad guidelines.

· Acts as a technical resource for peers and supports cross‑functional collaboration.

· Clearly communicates technical issues and test results to diverse stakeholder
