Core Responsibilities Inbound Discovery & Platform Thinking
- Act as a systems thinker who identifies value synergies across products, platforms, and teams.
- Lead customer and field discovery to uncover cross‑product pain points, workflow gaps, and integration friction.
- Translate customer needs into platform‑level, automation, software requirements, guardrails, and capability definitions.
Roadmap & Value Definition
- Partner closely with engineering and product teams to:
- Define platform roadmaps
- Articulate the “why” behind priorities
- Ensure solutions scale across use cases and segments
- Help define success metrics (adoption, time‑to‑value, reuse, attach, customer outcomes).
PMM COE (Center of Excellence) Enablement
- Contribute to PMM/PM COE best practices:
- Customer insight frameworks
- Value articulation templates
- Platform narrative consistency
- Enable field, sales, and solution teams with clear platform stories and integration guidance.
Technical & Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Rapidly learn complex technical domains and connect dots across HW, SW, and COE systems.
- Be comfortable challenging assumptions, asking “why,” and proposing alternative approaches.
- Influence engineering teams through clarity of vision and customer evidence, not hierarchy. Don’t just ask and accept roadmaps as is, think critically, challenge and independently propose ideas that have potential to contribute to pipeline.
Outbound Support (as an Extension of Inbound)
- Support solution narratives, enablement content, and reference architectures rooted in inbound insights.
- Ensure outbound materials reflect real customer workflows, not just feature aggregation.
- Mastery in customer presentation , excellent communication
Success Profile
- Background in robotics, controls, sensors and HW platforms
- Strong technical foundation with customer empathy
- Bias for action and structured thinking
- Ability to zoom in (details) and out (platform strategy)
- Natural collaborator who builds trust with engineering

- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services

- May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
