Summary
The Industrial Design team is looking for an experienced Finisher to join our model making team. In this role, you will craft high-quality appearance models and physical mock-ups that bring design concepts to life, supporting the evaluation and communication of industrial design directions, forms, and product ideas.
Description
Finishers are skilled craftspeople responsible for delivering exceptional cosmetic hand finishing and painting on high-fidelity appearance models. They bring precision, consistency, and meticulous attention to detail to every stage of model assembly, while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative design environment.

Minimum Qualifications
Strong hand finishing skills and experience with a wide range of materials and tools
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team
Preferred Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in product model making or a closely related discipline
Demonstrated craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail
Proficiency finishing plastics and metals across surface types (high polish to fine matte)
Candidates with fewer years of experience but a strong portfolio and demonstrated initiative are encouraged to apply
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,500 and $246,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
