Apple is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to join the Retail and Events EPM team. This diverse team integrates hardware solutions for retail spaces and special Apple events, like new product announcements, developer conferences, and store openings. These solutions are crafted to produce the best possible first customer experience and introduction to Apple products.

Description:

Collaborating and facilitating communication across a variety of cross functional teams and OEM partners to meet aggressive quality, schedule, and cost goals.

Filtering and distilling relevant information for appropriate audiences.

Understanding technical issues and driving them to closure in a timely manner by bringing together key partners for decision-making.

Providing project status across a wide spectrum of individuals, including executives.

Traveling both domestically and internationally to piece part and assembly vendors to drive schedule and builds.

Defining project scope and driving alignment throughout development.

Provide timely issue resolution and critical path management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding CAD/Mechanical design is nice to have.

You should have at least 5 years of combined experience in project management delivering products comprised of multiple materials and high aesthetic quality.

Prior Apple EPM experience highly desired.

Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering is preferred.

Mandarin fluency is a bonus.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 5 years of combined experience in project management delivering products comprised of multiple materials and high aesthetic quality.

Are comfortable to drive day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives.

Identify and direct all resources required to execute successful projects.

Collaborate and facilitate communication across engineering managers, operations manager, marketing managers and our OEM partners to meet aggressive cost, schedule, and quality goals.

Lead cross-functional communication between project teams and external vendors.

Provide timely issue resolution and critical path management.

Offer multiple levels of status across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management.

Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key partners for decision-making.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience.

Self-motivated and dedicated with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.

Ability to work in a high-pressure dynamic environment.

Understand and deal well with rapid development cycles; remain flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity.

Experience managing raw material development.

Pay & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
