Summary

The Headphone and Accessories Team at Apple is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to develop innovative technologies and deliver amazing end user experiences. Candidate is expected to be proficient in software development, experience with Objective C and Swift programming. We value individuals who are driven to innovate and possess a strong desire to learn new skills.

Description

As part of the Connected Audio team, you will develop breakthrough technologies that power the next generation of Air Pods and Apple accessories—products that have redefined personal audio worldwide.
The development will include working across Wireless Connectivity, ML, System Engineering, and other areas, to create seamless, end-to-end features spanning iOS, macOS, and tvOS

Minimum Qualifications

BS with 5+ years of industry experience
Strong programming skills and proficiency in C++ or Objective C / Swift
Experience in software development

Good understanding of Operating Systems concepts:

Familiarity with AI-powered tools and the ability to incorporate them effectively into day-to-day workflows is required.

Preferred Qualifications

MS in Computer Science / related field with 3+ years of experience is preferred

Experience with Embedded Software development:

Experience with building system modules interfacing with AIML

Experience with Multimodal Machine Learning:

Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others
Experience leading projects, and managing execution
Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
