As part of our Camera Technologies group, youʼll help design the innovative technology that allows each generation of Apple products to produce photos even more incredible than the last.

Youʼll design and develop groundbreaking ideas for everything involved in our camera systems, from sensor to lens. Youʼll collaborate with teams across Apple to research, design, develop, test, and qualify camera hardware for Apple products. Together, weʼll craft a magical photography experience that redefines what millions of customers can expect from their cameras.","responsibilities":"You will be involved with evaluating sophisticated pixel technology from global image sensor vendors.

Collaborating with global image sensor suppliers to develop new image sensors for different applications.

You will be working with internal and external teams to ensure that sufficient and accurate testing is implemented at all stages to guarantee performance. In addition, you will detail and present your results to both internal and external engineering teams, all within a multi-functional collaboration effort to develop next-generation camera products and features.

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of relevant industry experience.

Experience in image sensor pixel and sensor development, sensor characterization, sensor bring-up and debug, or wafer-level testing.

Familiar with image sensor technology, image sensor performance metrics, image sensor usage, and integration into camera systems.

Experience with general industry trends and technical challenges.

Knowledgeable enough in all aspects of sensor usage that you can efficiently work with and support the camera team.

Minimum Qualifications

BS and relevant industry experience.

Experience with data analysis tools (JMP or MATLAB or Excel, etc).

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
