Marcom Platform & Services (MP&S) partners with Marcom's Global Marketing Communications group to deliver platforms and tools. Marcom oversee all of Apple's advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications.

The Technical Program Manager, Interactive Content Management role will be responsible for owning Content Management perspective on Content Management tools strategy and best practices across Marcom, working both internally and with agency partners to encourage consistency, efficiency, and innovation. This role works closely with the rest of the MP&S internal Content Management team, as well as with MP&S teams, Digital Product, Content Management agency partners, Digital Producers, GEO Alt Producers, Development, QA and Leadership in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment with the aim of advancing the ongoing development of Marcom's Content Management strategy and making connections across Marcom's content management tools.

Description

This role will create and maintain relationships both internally and with agency partners, monitoring status and ongoing progress of existing and future Marcom Content Management Systems and processes and playing a critical role in key projects. This role will also be responsible for making overall recommendations that further Marcom goals for Content Management and finding connections between tools that encourage efficiency and decrease risk. Screen and prioritize tech concerns from the overall content management function at Marcom, identifying and elevating patterns and pain points

Contribute to planning activities by providing technical context for system versus staffing efficiency, and overall recommendations for platform and strategy improvements that benefit the product ecosystem

Aggregate tools updates and status across the studio as needed for contribution to reports to leadership, distilling findings and concerns, and communicating issues concisely with attention to core problems

Champion advancement and improvement of internal systems and workflows

Advocate for Content Management as primary user of Content Management tools

Maintain and develop relationships with key strategic partners through Marcom

Imbed in key projects, influencing initial and ongoing practices

Work with project teams to provide recommendations when there are issues and roadblocks

Assess gaps between existing systems and workflows compared to industry developments and best practices, using research data to recommend innovative solutions

Work with MP&S partners to uncover and leverage innovations made across the wider business

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years work experience in web development

Established program management skills within a larger complex business framework

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Self-starter, self-motivated, self-directed, self-sufficient

Ability to course-correct quickly as the needs of the business evolve, and to deftly influence without authority

Experience navigating large and complex organizations, including gaining access to key stakeholders and successfully managing relationship-building dynamics and processes

Proven technical acumen in Content Management Solutions and underlying architecture; advanced experience with AEM front- and back-end a plus

Strong, audience-oriented presentation skills

At ease with wide array of business best practices and frameworks; experience with agile methodology and scrum ceremonies a plus

Minimum Qualifications

Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ a technical degree or a minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience.

3+ years content management experience

2+ years technical program management experience

Demonstrated success identifying, assessing, and recommending solutions for Content Management Solutions issues

Proficient in multiple enterprise Content Management Solutions such as AEM, Drupal, Word Press, etc.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $213,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
