Description

You will be part of a team that's responsible for a wide variety of language technologies related development activities. Your focus will be on building and maintaining the infrastructure and tooling that powers model automation pipelines, ensuring they are highly scalable, robust and efficient. The role will be part of the model automation team to deal with large quantities of data, build reliable data processing systems, and support the team in tackling real world problems at scale.","responsibilities":"Developing and maintaining automation pipelines and tools for training, evaluating and deploying machine learning models for machine translation and related NLP tasks

Excellent coding skills in Python and experience with software infrastructure tools

Strong experience with ML concepts (model training, evaluation, experiment tracking) is a plus

Strong experience with ML frameworks such as Py Torch or JAX is a plus

Minimum Qualifications

4+ years of software engineering experience building scalable, production-quality systems

Proficient coding skills in Python and experience with software infrastructure tools

Experience with big data frameworks (Spark/Dataflow/Dask), large distributed systems, and cloud computing

Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, hands on experience in pipeline building, orchestration system and deployment workflows

Excellent communication and problem solving skills

Familiarity with ML concepts (model training, evaluation, experiment tracking) is a plus

Experience with ML frameworks such as Py Torch or JAX is a plus

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $210,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
