Description

As Wi-Fi team member, you will be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing Wi-Fi networking subsystem software across Apple products including i Phone, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV. You will also be working across software stacks (Frameworks and API, UI, OS services, and drivers) to maintain and productize features collaboratively with the hardware and software teams within all of Apple. You will be expected to own, drive and execute the full software development cycle - from the ideation, design, implementation, to testing and measuring the success of the feature you develop. We want you to make intelligent compromises between several contradictory factors such as ease of use, performance and efficiency.

Knowledge of 802.11 technologies and standards

Experience developing software using embedded SDKs, frameworks and/or BSPs

Minimum Qualifications

You have 5+ years experience developing software using C/C++, or Objective-C/Swift

You have experience with UNIX systems, and a deep understanding of operating system fundamentals

Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, programming and debugging skills

Understanding of TCP/IP suite of protocols

English language proficiency

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
