APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate new actions and capabilities into the Shortcuts app. Design and develop new features to enhance the functionality and user experience of the Shortcuts app. Maintain and improve existing codebases by diagnosing and resolving bugs to ensure product stability and performance. Write and implement comprehensive unit, integration, and performance tests to deliver a high quality and reliable product. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team planning to share expertise and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. Collaborate with security and privacy teams to uphold and implement robust security standards and compliance protocols within the app. Work closely with the App Intents team to influence and refine the API, leveraging insights as a core adopter to shape its strategic direction. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $180,710 - $258,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Experience and/or education must include:

Utilizing Swift and Objective-C to maintain and improve multi-language codebases.

Designing and developing application features with an emphasis on user interaction, functionality, and consistency across iOS or macOS platforms.

Writing unit, integration, and performance tests to validate application behaviors.

Coordinating with privacy and security teams to implement application behavior in accordance with security policies and compliance requirements.

Participating in code reviews, technical discussions, and planning sessions to contribute to the ongoing development lifecycle.

Converting design specifications into functional and technical implementation plans in collaboration with product and design teams.

Debugging software using tools available in Xcode, such as lldb.
