Here on the Apple Store Online team, we are responsible for Apple's largest store. Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. We are seeking a highly strategic Investments, Planning and Insights Manager, ASO Mar Tech and Operations to lead global marketing investment strategy and executive reporting to join Apple Retail's worldwide performance marketing organization. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, financial operations, and advanced analytics-owning how marketing investments are planned, measured, optimized, and communicated to executive leadership.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical rigor with executive presence, translating complex global data into clear, forward-looking insights that shape business decisions and drive measurable growth.

Lead global investment strategy and financial operations while serving as the primary driver of executive-level marketing reporting and insights. Build scalable systems, deliver advanced measurement frameworks, and provide data-backed strategic guidance to senior leadership. This role is critical to ensuring marketing investments are strategically deployed, analytically measured, and clearly communicated, allowing leadership to confidently allocate capital and drive sustained global growth.","responsibilities":"Executive Reporting and Insights: own executive reporting across weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences. Translate complex financial and performance data into clear, actionable insights, providing proactive recommendations to senior leadership and serving as a trusted strategic advisor.
Global Investment Strategy and Planning: design scalable financial operations and forecasting frameworks. Oversee global budget management and implement advanced measurement methodologies (attribution, ROAS, incrementality). Leverage SQL, data warehousing, and Martech/Adtech tools to deliver actionable insights.
Financial Operations and Advanced Analytics: oversee financial operations including budget forecasting, process management, and updates, ensuring all performance marketing investments are accurately tracked and aligned with company goals
Process Optimization & Organizational Impact: lead cross-functional process improvements to strengthen reporting and financial transparency. Build standardized, scalable systems for planning and investment decisions to influence broader strategy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Global, in-house e-commerce marketing experience, particularly with Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliate Partners and China Platforms
Experience with ROAS frameworks and incrementality measurement
Advanced knowledge of dashboards and reporting tools
Background in global performance marketing or digital marketing organizations
Familiarity with Martech/adtech tools and marketing automation platforms
Proven track record of driving process improvements and leading financial operations
Proactive and ambitious approach, actively seeking opportunities to drive business growth and impact
Advanced proficiency in data manipulation, data warehousing and data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, Tableau).
MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Marketing, Data Science, or related field
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, performance marketing, financial planning, or investment strategy, including significant experience within a global organization
Expertise in marketing attribution, ROI analysis, forecasting and budget optimization
Experience driving impact and influence across cross-functional teams, including Finance, Marketing, and Analytics
Proficient in SQL, analyzing data, deriving insights, and translate insights into strategic actions to guide senior management and business leaders
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Pay & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,800 and $210,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
