You will be part of the Services Finance team and will be focused on supporting Claris. We are looking for a financial analyst with a composed executive presence, deep analytical capabilities, ample financial / quantitative horsepower, interest in Apple's business and strategy, polished communication skills, and a "team player" attitude with an ability to thrive in high-performing, collaborative groups. This analyst shall partner with and influence various groups, handle confidential information, and carry a very high level of responsibility and exposure. The job will entail close partnership with various business and functional teams, and will require mastering various financial tasks such as reporting, analysis, forecasting, and influencing business partners.

Description

This is an exciting opportunity that entails the following responsibilities:

• Develop monthly forecast and annual budget based on comprehensive financial models and insights from business stakeholders

• Analyze and track headcount, variable and fixed expenses

• Provide management reporting based on business financials and guide business partners to manage within their budgets and make the most effective spending decisions

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities and monthly Forecast

• Drive quarterly reviews with the business teams

• Manage purchase requisitions to ensure correct application of project/GL codes while ensuring compliance with Indirect Procurement requirements

• Prepare journal entries, manage accruals for monthly and quarterly Close, ensuring adherence to SOX requirements for substantiation of accruals

• Partner with cross-functional teams for finance transformation efforts and lead work streams related to financial reporting

Preferred Qualifications

Proven financial modeling and analytical skills to translate financials into clear & insightful recommendations for Executive leadership

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner cross-functionally at all levels of the organization

Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

Ability to work to deadlines and on multiple tasks simultaneously

Welcomes change, is curious and can manage ambiguity, takes on problem solving with a positive attitude and is self-motivated to complete challenging tasks

Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

Detail oriented and highly organized

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of progressive and relevant experience in a high performance and high growth organization, preferably supporting engineering or product teams across international markets

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative field

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,300 and $263,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
