The AI Data Products:
- Data services Apps team at Apple invites interested engineers to join us in developing and operating critical, large-scale applications. Our engineers design and build robust Java-based solutions that power some of Apple's most important workloads in mention relevant areas like Services, Retail, etc.. You will be joining a team of experts working on modern full-stack technologies, distributed systems, and scalable architectures, helping to deliver high-performance, reliable, and user-centric experiences. Your work will be deployed at significant scale, impacting the experiences of millions of Apple users.

- The AI Data Products
- Data Services Apps team develops and operates highly reliable applications that serve Apple's diverse needs. We're looking for curious, enthusiastic, and collaborative developers with a strong commitment to engineering excellence who can contribute across the full technology stack, including front-end, back-end, and APIs. Success in this role requires a solid understanding of several of the following:
Fundamentals of system design, microservices architecture, and API development.
Proficiency in Java and related technologies.
Understanding of front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or similar JavaScript frameworks.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgres, Oracle) and NoSQL data stores.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
The role also requires excellent communication and the ability to partner closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams, with a strong focus on delivering value to our users. The ability to work effectively with colleagues in different locations and mentor junior engineers is also important.","responsibilities":"Design and Develop scalable and resilient microservices and APIs using Java and related technologies, adhering to established architectural patterns and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications
MS in Computer Science/related fields with 4+ years of relevant full-stack Java development experience
Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices
Experience with cloud-native development and deployment practices
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies
Familiarity with working with different Data Store technologies
Familiarity with working with GenAI/LLM's is a plus
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of industry experience
1+ of Java development experience
Experience with both front-end and back-end frameworks, including a with a modern JavaScript framework
Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications and APIs
Fundamentals of system design, microservices architecture, and API development
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
BS in Computer Science or related fields or experience
