Description

Our team is looking for a highly-motivated engineer with excellent software development, quantitative reasoning, and communication skills. Candidates need to be very familiar with modern object-oriented programming languages such as C++ or Swift, as well as having an understanding of common design patterns, debugging techniques, and performant code. Experience with wireless sensing, probabilistic estimation, statistical reasoning, embedded platforms, the iOS ecosystem and large codebases are welcome backgrounds.

We are a team motivated by shipping software and getting technology in to the hands of our users. Team members need to be familiar with the entire software development lifecycle: taking an idea from concept, to prototype, to production. Great candidates will be comfortable communicating and promoting their ideas, and eager to learn from others.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi Fi, and/or GNSS

Working knowledge of digital signal processing

Working knowledge of probability and statistics

Thrives in a fast paced environment, developing large and complex systems.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 3 years professional experience creating, analyzing, and modifying production software in C++, Objective-C, Swift, or similar compiled language

Experience with wireless technologies for ranging, location, or sensing.

Comfortable developing in Unix-like systems.

Comfortable navigating, managing, and improving large code bases.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
