Technical Platform Proficiency: Experience with API documentation and testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI) and version control concepts (e.g., Git, SVN, GitHub) to effectively review and communicate technical specifications alongside developers. Deep Actuarial/Quant Knowledge: Direct experience working with complex financial concepts (e.g., reserves, valuation, pricing, stochastic calculus, or CVA) is a significant advantage. Technical Fluency: Ability to read, understand, and analyze code. Hands-on experience with scripting languages (specifically Python) to effectively communicate with developers is a big plus. HPC & Architecture: Experience working with High-Performance Computing, GPU-based architecture, or complex cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable. Familiarity with actuarial or financial software such as AXIS, Prophet, Risk Agility, or Poly Systems is a strong plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between actuarial concepts. Our continuous learning culture inspires and equips colleagues to learn, share and grow, helping them achieve their fullest potential. As a result, Aon colleagues are more connected, more relevant and more valued.
