ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril is defining the future of defense, and we’re looking for a Finance Intern to join our corporate finance team. Ideal candidates for this role are pursuing their MBA, are exceptional communicators, and have a can-do attitude — where no job is too small or big, thrive in ambiguity, bias towards action, and have a genuine alignment and excitement towards the company’s mission.

This 12 week summer internship will be in-person in Costa Mesa, CA.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Contribute significantly to the development and refinement of the long-range financial plan (LRP), annual operating plan (AOP), and monthly financial forecasts

• Develop detailed financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives and operational decisions

• Provide strategic financial insights and variance analysis related to performance, including revenue, OPEX, EBITDA, capital expenditures, and cash flow

• Partner closely with the Strategic Real Estate and Business Operations team to support ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modeling, and executive decision-making

• Develop financial models and analytical frameworks to address ad hoc investor inquiries and support investor relations activities

• Establish an extensive benchmarking analysis and framework for total company financial performance and financial operating metrics

• Prepare executive level presentations and materials that synthesize financial analysis and provide actionable recommendations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance, Corporate Finance, o Strategy. All applicants should be returning to school at the end of their internship to continue their academic studies for at least 1 semester.

• Strong financial modeling skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, scenario analysis)

• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to both financial and non-financial audiences

• Prior experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or strategic consulting is a plus

• Ability to complete an in-person 12-week internship in Costa Mesa, CA

• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
