The Failure Analysis Technician is responsible for the setup and operation of different kinds of failure analysis (FA) equipment as per established procedures. He/she will analyze results, prepare, and publish reports. He/she will also participate in and support departmental goals, Total Quality Management (TQM) and special occurrence projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to failure analysis and related activities in a timely manner.
Set up and operate different types of failure analysis and automatic test equipment
Analyze data and generate reports (e.g. laboratory service report)
Coordinate with other groups in obtaining materials or system time needed in accomplishing tasks (Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering)
Act as training buddy for newly hired Failure Analysis Inspectors
Regularly update any monitoring files assigned
Collaborate with members of other groups in resolving failure analysis technique related issues
Participate in departmental activities in support of business management planning (BMP) goals.
Promote and adhere to the Company’s commitment on corporate social responsibility.
