Role Description:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and mentoring in a technology-driven environment, with a strong focus within Supply Chain technology and Applications. This Sr Manager position for Supply Chain technology is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the success of the end-to-end solution delivery and process design serving as the primary interface with the clients and leading a cross-functional team to achieve established goals.
This person will be involved in recommending the most appropriate technology application for the client based on the business requirements and transformation needs. The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis skills and technical background in end-to-end software development lifecycle, proficiency in managing complex integration projects and ensuring compliance with privacy standards is essential. The candidate should be a self-starter and have a strong passion for fostering innovation and excellence in the biotechnology industry. Additionally, collaboration with cross-functional and global teams is required to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Collaborating with business stakeholders within commercial and clinical supply chain operations and business leads to design, implement, and manage features

Define and communicate the product feature vision, including both technical / architectural features and enablement, and end-user features, ensuring alignment with business objectives across multiple solution stakeholder groups

Create strategic roadmap for product health, technology innovations to ensure that the applications continue to align with business process requirements

Work with Product Owners, Service Owners and developers/testers to ensure that delivery matches commitments, acting as an escalation point and facilitating communication when service commitments are not met

Ability to analyze supply chain operational data, to identify opportunities and develop insights to translate business requirements into clear fit gat analysis and technology implementation strategies for business transformation

Leverage cutting-edge innovations in cloud technologies to achieve process efficiencies through automations using AI/ML, and agentic AI chatbots

Oversee the software development lifecycle using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Fostering standard methodology sharing and alignment with business goals

Develop talent, motivate the team, delegate effectively, champion diversity within the team and act as a role model of servant leadership.

Basic Qualifications and Experience:
- 12 to 17 years of experience in Supply Chain Technology, Supply Chain Business, Engineering, IT or related field OR
Functional Skills:
Must-Have Skills:

Strong functional expertise and In-depth knowledge of supply chain planning applications covering Demand and Supply planning, Sales and Operations Planning, Inventory Optimization, Capacity and constraints, Master Production Schedule, Rough cut capacity planning

10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning Solutions such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, and the like, with 5+ years of experience in Kinaxis Rapid Response and/or Anaplan systems

Prior implementation experience in end-to-end supply chain planning solutions using Kinaxis Rapid Response platform or any prior experience with similar advanced planning applications like SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, OMP, and o9 platforms is desired

Facilitating business process design, requirements gathering, conducting fit gap analysis and ability to design technical solutions leveraging Maestro (Rapid Response) capabilities.

Provides architecture guidance on individual system designs; Architect designs and solutions to support the realization of supply chain planning functionalities using Kinaxis Rapid Response platform

Develop and maintain System Architecture models (e.g. System Interaction diagrams) and reference implementations within systems of record (e.g. Portfolio Management and Enterprise Architecture tools)

Design and deploy the latest technology like advanced analytics, AI, machine learning to advance our Supply Chain and solve complex challenges (e.g., inventory optimization, S&OP simplification, MPS with capacity constraints) - Identity and implement continuous process improvements.

Ability to translate the enterprise’s aspirations for information sharing into the reality of detailed actions in the supply chain, quality, and IS organizations, including an understanding of data modeling, data quality, data management strategy to support business needs, data access methods, and approaches and experience in data access systems for use in the pharmaceutical industry
Good-to-Have Skills:

Health Cloud and Lifesciences Cloud hands on experience

Working knowledge of integrations suite using API’s or 3rd party integration software like Talend, Mule Soft, Data Lake and Data Fabrics etc

Extensive experience in software development lifecycle

Experience using and adoption of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Established business partnerships and IS governance practices involving senior business stakeholders

Broad working knowledge of key IS domains and layers

Understanding of FDA regulations governing computer system validation and operation

Familiarity with security requirements and best practices for data at rest and in transit

Success in mentoring and developing strong product analysts, business analysts, and developers
Professional Certifications:

Kinaxis Rapid Response Authoring and Solution Architect Certifications

Any relevant supply chain specific certifications like APICS (CSCP, CPIM)

Any other relevant Technology certifications like Anaplan, SAP, Azure, AWS, AI/ML is desired and preferred
