Role Description
The Compensation Senior Associate supports the effective execution, governance and continuous improvement of global compensation programs and processes. The role applies experienced & specialized compensation knowledge to address complex inquiries, support recurring compensation cycles, ensure data integrity and maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Operating under general direction, this role serves will be partnering closely with the Compensation Center of Excellence (CoE), Compensation Leads, HR stakeholders and business partners. The position contributes to functional objectives through strong operational discipline, analytical support, process ownership and scalable knowledge enablement within established governance frameworks.
Responsibilities Compensation Advisory & Analysis
- Serve as a resource, responding to complex compensation and policy inquiries by interpreting guidelines and preparing escalation-ready analysis for Compensation Leads or the Compensation CoE.
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders on non-standard compensation scenarios within established frameworks, identifying & predicting risks, options and recommended approaches.
- Support benchmarking and analytical reviews of compensation-related programs (e.g., recognition, retention, referral bonus, severance), in partnership with Compensation CoE and Compensation-related Benefits Subject Matter Expert
- Prepare insights, data summaries and structured recommendations to inform program adjustments, policy clarifications, or approval decisions.
Program & Cycle Execution
- Support preparation and execution of recurring compensation activities as delegated by the Compensation CoE, including mid-year adjustments and ad hoc review cycles.
- Provide end-to-end operational ownership for designated compensation programs or cycles (e.g., retention bonuses, one-time awards), including PO (Purchase Order) creation, program execution oversight, timeline management, system accuracy and issue resolution.
- Manage associated system and documentation workflows to ensure accurate transactions, approvals and audit-ready records.
Controls, Compliance & Data Integrity
- Support compensation-related audit follow-up activities (e.g., job code audits, eligibility reviews) through structured data analysis, remediation actions and documentation.
- Proactively identify data integrity risks, resolve discrepancies and recommend process or control enhancements to strengthen governance.
- Ensure all compensation actions are executed in alignment with approved policies, governance standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
Knowledge Management & Communications
- Develop and maintain process documentation, job aids and service playbooks to enable consistent HR Connect delivery and scalable operational support.
- Own and maintain compensation-related content across HR platforms and tools, ensuring accuracy, policy alignment and timely updates in partnership with the Compensation CoE.
- Support and execute compensation-related communications for major cycles (e.g., MAP), including timeline coordination, stakeholder messaging and content updates in collaboration with Compensation and Infrastructure partners.
Basic Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field, 5- 9 years.
- Relevant experience in compensation, Total Rewards operations, or HR systems support, preferably within a global or matrixed environment.
- Working knowledge of compensation principles, job architecture concepts and pay governance frameworks.
- Experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday) and case or knowledge management platforms (Service Now) preferred.

- Strong analytical and policy interpretation skills, with the ability to resolve moderately complex scenarios within defined frameworks.
- High attention to detail, data accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under general direction and align work to departmental objectives.
- Effective stakeholder collaboration and communication skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to strengthen processes within established governance boundaries.
