ABOUT THE ROLE:

Role Description:

As a Senior Manager – V&A Insights, you will be responsible for leading team to develop and deploy advanced machine learning, operational research, semantic analysis, and statistical methods to uncover structure in large data sets. This role under supervision of Director Value and Access Insights create analytics solutions to address customer needs and opportunities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight to a team of Managers, Business analysts, data scientists and engineers on developing and deploying AI solutions
  • Assume the role of business owner and manage the Proprietary AI algorithms built to support Pricing and overall GTN programs
  • Develop and maintain pricing elasticity models, revenue optimization tools, and scenario simulators, Build advanced forecasting models for price setting, competitive entry impact, and lifecycle pricing.
  • Lead development of dashboards and pricing impact tools in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to enable decision-making by non-technical teams.
  • Summarize and Present insights to Cross functional executive leadership
  • Cross Collaborate with US Commercial and Technology functions for expansion and continued Optimization
  • Accountable to drive full lifecycle of Data Science projects delivery and ability to guide data scientists in shaping the developing solutions and act as a subject matter expert in solving development and commercial questions
  • Manage AI tool’s road map, working with a global cross functional team
  • Work in technical teams in development, deployment, and application of applied analytics, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics.
  • Oversee a team of 8-10 Data scientists including managers and senior associates, including setting performance standards, managing their staffing, and monitoring performance
  • Lead Development and integration custom applications, intelligent dashboards, and automated workflows that incorporate AI capabilities to enhance decision-making and efficiency

Functional Skills:

Must-Have Skills (Not more than 3 to 4):

  • Foundational understanding of US GTN pharmaceutical ecosystem and Patient support services offerings (Copay) and other standard data sets including claims, prescription
  • Experience with one or more analytic software tools or languages like R and Python
  • Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and techniques
  • Experience in statistical techniques and hypothesis testing, experience with regression analysis, clustering and classification

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in computer science, statistics or STEM majors with a minimum of 12 years of Information Systems experience OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics or STEM majors with a minimum of 15 years of Information Systems experience.
  • Strong understanding of US pharmaceutical ecosystem and Patient support services offerings (Copay) and other standard data sets including claims, prescription
  • Experience with one or more analytic software tools or languages like R and Python
  • Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and techniques
  • Experience in leading data science projects and managing large teams
  • Knowledge of NLP techniques for text analysis and sentiment analysis
  • Experience in analyzing time-series data for forecasting and trend analysis
  • Experience with Databricks platform for data analytics and MLOps Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience, ideally with hands-on involvement in Gross-to-Net (GTN), revenue forecasting, product launches, and commercial strategy support

Soft Skills:

  • Initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.
  • Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements, and estimating efforts.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully.
  • Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals
