In this vital role you will serve as a Specialist SAP Architect supporting Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Fixed Assets, and Lease Accounting solutions across Amgen’s global SAP ERP landscape. You will provide architectural leadership to ensure these systems are scalable, integrated, and aligned with global business needs. This includes ownership of associated SAP modules and third-party tools such as SLAN and Co Star.

This role spans both operational support and long-term strategic design in a hybrid SAP ECC and S/4HANA environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Serve as a solution architect for SAP CLM, Fixed Assets, and Lease Accounting modules across SAP ECC and S/4HANA platforms

• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to align system functionality with accounting, tax, and lease management requirements

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and/or IFRS in asset accounting and lease reporting

• Conduct architectural reviews and propose enhancements to support business growth and automation

• Guide integration between CLM and downstream financial systems to support complete lifecycle visibility

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and play a key role in delivering value in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment

• Leverage AI/ML and modern tech enablers to enhance asset lifecycle processes

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree / Master's degree / Bachelor's degree and 8 to 13 years of information systems experience .

Preferred Qualifications:

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong knowledge of financial processes (Record to Report) with deep expertise in SAP CLM, Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting

• Hands-on experience configuring SAP ECC and S/4HANA Finance modules

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS standards applicable to leases and asset capitalization

• Proven ability to lead architecture and implementation projects in a global organization, and familiarity with Agile methodologies

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with SLAN, Co Star, and other lease/asset management systems

• Stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination

• DevOps and CI/CD experience

• Exposure to Jira Align or similar tools

• Excellent written and verbal communication

Professional Certifications (please mention if the certification is preferred or mandatory for the role):

• Relevant SAP S/4HANA certifications (preferred)

• SAFe for Teams certification (preferred)

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a global, cross-functional environment

• High level of initiative, accountability, and professionalism

• Comfortable presenting to various stakeholders

Shift Information:

This position requires you to work a later shift and may be assigned a second or third shift schedule. Candidates must be willing and able to work during evening or night shifts, as required based on business requirements.
