What you will do:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Content Metadata and Tagging Associate to join our content operations team. This role is critical to ensuring content is structured, discoverable, and aligned with brand standards through accurate tagging and metadata practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of content systems, metadata management, and interdepartmental collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Information Management:

Collect and document key brand messages, positioning statements, and content goals from stakeholders to inform metadata and tagging strategies.

  • Metadata & Tagging Strategy Execution:

Ensure all content meets defined tagging and metadata standards based on enterprise taxonomies and campaign structures.

  • Review and validate tagging maps, templates, and models for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.

  • Quality Control & Assurance:

Maintain documentation of tagging standards and version updates.

  • Maintain active list of Brand Key Messages in appropriate systems.

  • Metadata Request Management:

Respond to and manage incoming metadata and tagging-related requests from stakeholders, including the creation of new metadata or updates to existing structures.

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Marketing, Communications, Library Science, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in content operations, metadata management, digital asset management (DAM), or a related area.

  • Familiarity with taxonomy, controlled vocabularies, and metadata standards.

  • Experience working with CMS, DAM, or PIM systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality assurance.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong project management and organizational abilities, with experience handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work effectively across teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Veeva Promo Mats and Veeva Compass

  • Experience with metadata modeling tools or automated tagging systems.

  • Understanding of SEO and content discoverability principles.

  • Knowledge of Agile workflows or content production pipelines.
