Job Description:

It's an exciting time to be a part of the evolving energy industry! Ameren's collegiate internship and co-op program is all about providing real work experience, networking opportunities, and professional growth.

This general posting will be used to collect applications for our 2026 Electrical Engineer Fall Co-Op openings across the states of Illinois and Missouri.

The options for collegiate employment are:

           May – December Co-Op

Locations

Ameren is located throughout Missouri and Illinois. Location decisions will be made as soon as possible during the hiring process. If you are selected for an intern or co-op position, please note that Ameren does offer a housing stipend to interns and co-ops who are temporarily relocating, if minimum housing stipend requirements (living & attending school 50+ miles away from your working location) are met.

Qualifications

Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university required with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.

We will provide more information about each opportunity at time of interview.

Compensation:

We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the salary offered.

$19.00 - $29.00
