Together, we advance your career.THE ROLE: AMD is looking for a highly talented engineer to join our team as a Graduate Trainee working on platform designs, validations, and solutions to help our customers. This engineer will work with validation team to meet product development or sustaining milestones. Opportunity to learn simulation, emulation and validation during pre-silicon and post-silicon phase to deliver the hardware and software technologies of next generation AI/HPC computing platforms.

THE PERSON: The person has a clear passion for our customer’s winning with AMD products. Showing emotional intelligence while interacting with the customer is fundamental and balancing this with a structured approach to moving the customer strategically aligned with AMD business needs is equally critical.  Equally important to the customer relationships is building a positive relationship with all related development teams so that when issues for key talent or other special requests are required there is very low latency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Depending on the job role, you may work on activities below:

• Setting up and enabling the latest AMD Instinct Platforms Design
• Participate on the current and next generation product definition and address the key design and methodology challenges.
• Participate in projects involving from design, simulation, emulation, validation and/or customer communication.
• Test and validate the functionality, electrical, power and performance of the Instinct Platforms to its product features specifications.
• Brainstorm and debug of any issues or challenges arises to meet product features specifications.
• Involve in both hardware and software on daily basis to perform the validation works.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Good communication
• Self-starter with the ability to multitask across several projects.
• Software involved PYTHON, C++
• Hardware equipment involved Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Thermal Solution, VNA
• AI/HPC software stacks, ROCm, Tensor Flow or Pytorch is a plus with regards to AI application

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical & Electronics / Computer Engineering / Computer Science
