The IN Private Brands team is looking for a customer-obsessed Category Manager to help drive one of the most exciting growth engines for Private Brands at Amazon.in.

Key job responsibilities
Creating a data-driven long-term multi-channel product and category roadmap Private Brands Program
Identifying new product development opportunities to launch products under existing and new brands
Managing an existing business which is growing exponentially.
Driving various input metrics to drive business growth
Designing and implementing new processes to help scale our business.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about products, have program/project management experience, vendor/stakeholder management, excellent negotiation skills. S/he should excel in both strategic thinking and tactical execution, and feel comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working in a very entrepreneurial environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of sales or account management experience
  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
  • Experience influencing C-level executives / start-ups

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of using SQL to extract and manipulate data experience
  • MBA
  • Experience in Program management or services experience deploying technology solutions
