About the role
We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Step-up Training Coordinator to join our Amazon Australia Learning Team based out of our Ravenhall Fulfilment Centre
In this role, you will manage and work with our workplace process trainers (known as ambassadors) to deliver high standards of training to our new and existing associate workforce. You will thrive in this role if you are dynamic, an organised self-starter, a strong communicator and highly value teamwork. The successful candidate will be trained in both the standard work and tools used within the Learning function and will be trained and required to work across warehouse processes such as order picking or packing
Step Up Learning Coordinator Opportunity:

This is an opportunity for existing MEL5 employees to step-up into a Learning coordinator role for a period of time.

Key job responsibilities

Develop, deliver and assess a multitude of training programs for both new and experienced associates

Perform data entry including creating, entering and updating training rosters

Lead & Support Ambassadors in their roles in delivering training and coaching to associates

Assist in evaluating and monitoring training efforts throughout the FC

Ability to learn processes quickly and become a subject matter expert in new processes

Complete understanding of the safety procedures in the FC to ensure that associates are operating safely and take immediate corrective action where necessary

Ensure compliance with audits and refresher/one point change training

Ensure area readiness and area organization for all Learning areas and training locations to ensure they are prepared to support all training activities

Spend a minimum of 5 hours per week in a process path (rotate through paths) to maintain proficiency and identify associate barriers

Coach and positively impact associates to succeed in their roles
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- High school or equivalent
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Work 38 hours/week, and overtime as required
- Can lift up to 22.2kg, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
Preferred Qualifications
- Workplace training experience ideal but not necessary
- Able to give and receive feedback effectively
- Effective time management skills, exemplary attendance and punctuality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative
- A forklift licence would be advantageous
