Amazon is growing its external payments operations at a fast pace in India. In this context, the Amazon Payments India Solutions team is looking for Solution architect – Amazon Pay who will help our merchants have a hassle-free experience in using Amazon Pay, and in integrating with Amazon Pay SDK, APIs. You should be an effective communicator, have advanced technical knowledge, quick to learn new tools & systems, and flexible in the face of changes. Our environment is fast-paced and requires someone who is comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.
Working in a dynamic environment, your responsibilities will include working directly with external developers and product managers to integration Amazon Pay, helping them resolve any tech issues during integration or post integration, monitor their success rates, review & update SOPs on a regular basis and contribute towards automation of internal processes.
Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment you will work autonomously taking full control and responsibility for achieving business objectives. This role provides opportunities to work directly with external merchants/developers, develop SOPs, and work with multiple internal stakeholders in an ever-changing business climate.
- Key job responsibilities
- Understand Amazon Services products and services and articulate and guide merchants through integration.
- Own and manage the “Amazon Pay” integration of a portfolio of key merchants
- Work with merchants to set and meet milestones and deliverables to deliver high-quality integration projects.
- Track and report integration performance using appropriate metrics. Achieve productivity and merchant satisfaction targets.
- Engage with internal and external customers/teams to define requirements, test data integrity, verify business processes, and deploy product offerings.
- Gather requirements and help build tools and processes to increase the ease and efficiency with which merchants integrate with us.
- Support the launches of new programs, categories and features
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- Experience with scripting (e.g. Python, PowerShell)
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience in payments or e-commerce
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
- Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development or testing
- Experience working with REST API based services, or experience in software development
