Amazon MGM Studios (AMS) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is looking for a Finance Manager to support the business and finance teams across theatrical film, third party scripted & unscripted TV, MGM+, consumer products and global distribution, with a focus on managing the financial planning efforts and direct ownership of the Profit & Loss consolidation. This role will drive the core financial planning cycles, including Month-End Close, Quarterly Guidance forecasts and Annual Operating Plans, as well as ongoing controllership. Further, this role will lead FP&A efforts around special projects, such as M&A and business/system integrations. This role provides exposure to both finance partners and business operations teams.

• Lead month end, quarterly, annual operating financial planning working cross functionally with various teams, including Prime Video finance, accounting, and business operations
• Ensure data is accurately reflected in financial planning systems, including Essbase and Cognos
• Drive process automation to streamline current processes and enhance financial controllership
• Ad hoc project support on company-wide strategic initiatives
• Analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and timely reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations
• Support the month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Assist in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
• 8+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• 8+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
• 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• 3+ years of advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.) experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or a CPA and experience in accounts receivable or account payable

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
• 6+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience
• 3+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience
• MBA, or CPA
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess, Essbase or Cognos) and providing recommendations based on results of ad hoc analyses to management for strategic decision-making

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
