Financial Analyst , AWS LATAM, AWS AR LATAM-BR
Amazon's Finance Operations department seeks a Financial Analyst to support Accounts Receivable for Brazil. In this role, you will manage the full cycle of accounts receivable, including research, analysis, and collection activities for past due balances. You will be responsible for reconciling accounts, resolving invoice discrepancies, and maintaining strong customer relationships through timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
This position requires trilingual fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, as you will collaborate with the Global Finance Operations team and internal business partners across the US, LATAM, and new geographical launches. You will create and implement standard operating procedures, analyze processes, recommend improvements, and manage internal controls while contributing to operational excellence activities.

Reconcile AR accounts to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness while maintaining the highest standards of financial reporting
Resolve invoice discrepancies and manage internal and external inquiries to ensure timely and accurate receivables processing
Create and implement standard operating procedures and process workflows to improve operational efficiency and support knowledge transfer
Collaborate with Global Finance Operations teams and internal business partners across US, LATAM, and new geographical launches, requiring trilingual fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish
A day in the life
Your day begins by reviewing pending collections and prioritizing customer outreach. You'll make collection calls in Portuguese, English, or Spanish, depending on the customer location. Throughout the day, you'll reconcile AR accounts, investigate discrepancies, and respond to inquiries from internal teams and external customers. You'll collaborate with global team members during overlap hours, participate in process improvement discussions, and prepare weekly metrics reports that highlight collection trends and payment status.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
