Amazon.com is seeking a Benefit support specialist to join the Benefits Administration team. This hands-on individual contributor role will partner extensively with the International Pension team to help execute on retirement-focused benefits for our International retirement programs covering 140,000+ Amazonians.

Qualified candidates will need to have prior pension/retirement program administration experience and the ability to utilize data to make recommendations for improvements that will benefit our employees. Working with Benefit Teams/HR to support plan design changes; review and recommend changes to investment performance, costs and charges, and overall plan SLA performance.

The ideal candidate must have strong critical thinking skills, superior attention to detail with sound judgement, highly organized, analytical, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, and have a strong passion for customer service.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Benefit administration and analysis – Support the administration and implementation of solutions that improve the overall financial wellbeing of our employees through bench-marking, performance monitoring and vendor communications. Support strategic initiatives and objectives, providing an optimal employee experience and scaling to support future business growth.
  • Compliance – Manage and execute on international retirement/savings related projects, audits and compliance reviews, performing or managing audits, and communicating findings, results, and remediation plans. Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, develop and execute on corrective action plans to resolve issues, and recommend how to avoid or handle similar situations in the future. Track and monitor new regulations and ensure compliance with international retirement plans. Create and manage project plans to ensure all deadlines are met.

Basic Qualifications

  • Human resources experience
  • Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field
  • Benefits administration experience
  • Experience in using Benefits Platforms
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills
  • Experience in vendor management
  • Experience in policy and/or process writing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pension or retirement savings administration experience
