About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a world-class partner and alliance builder to join the Korea Partner Team as a Principal Partner Development Manager (PDM) for Frontier AI. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to establish and scale frontier AI partnerships that drive AWS cloud adoption across Korea. You will lead the end-to-end go-to-market strategy with frontier AI model partners—including Anthropic and OpenAI—and drive customer adoption at scale during a critical growth window.

Establishing frontier AI-powered architectures and solutions on Bedrock is strategically important for our customers. You will have the opportunity to establish our GTM motion and capture unprecedented growth during this unique window.

Key job responsibilities
Lead strategic relationship management for frontier AI partners, contributing to partner business planning and driving mutual accountability for capability development. Actively contribute to top frontier AI deals through technical validation, partner orchestration, and executive engagement. Conduct regular partner pipeline and revenue performance reviews, providing data-driven recommendations to accelerate opportunity progression. Own the design and delivery of frontier AI partner enablement programs, ensuring partners develop comprehensive go-to-market capabilities. Establish systematic collaboration with specialist sales teams on strategic frontier AI initiatives. Serve as the expert voice on frontier AI partner strategy and market dynamics for Korea.

  • A day in the life
  • Align with AI specialist sales teams on top AI partner deals, removing blockers and matching the right partners to customer opportunities
  • Review partner pipeline health and provide data-driven recommendations to partner managers
  • Enable PDMs/PSMs and cross-functional teams on AI strategy, funding mechanisms, and market intelligence
  • Engage AI partners on business planning, capability development, and go-to-market execution

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences
  • 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
