AWS is looking for a Specialist Solutions Architect for AI/ML who will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for helping customers in Mexico design and implement solutions that leverage our AI services, including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Sage Maker, and Amazon Q. As part of the team, you will work closely with customers to enable large-scale use cases, design AI pipeline, and drive the adoption of AWS AI/ML platforms. You will develop technical content, reference implementations, and presentations to enable customers to fully leverage AI on AWS.
You must have deep technical experience working with technologies related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, and AI. This includes hands-on experience with large language model customization, RAG systems, prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks. Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English are essential, with the ability to engage stakeholders from developers to technical decision-makers.

• Key job responsibilities
• Work with customers' development and data science teams to deeply understand their business and technical needs, then design solutions that make the best use of AWS cloud platform and AWS AI/ML Services including Amazon Sage Maker, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Comprehend, Amazon Rekognition, Amazon Transcribe, Amazon Lex, and Amazon Personalize
• Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective AI solutions spanning traditional ML, and Agentic AI capabilities
• Lead proof-of-concept implementations and technical workshops demonstrating advanced AI implementation strategies
• Partner with Solutions Architects, Sales, Business --Development, and AI/ML Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and revenue attainment in Mexico
• Develop compelling technical content including AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and demonstrations showcasing best practices
• Evangelize AWS ML services through public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, and local community events
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and AWS service teams to provide customer-driven product improvement feedback
• Foster knowledge-sharing and contribute to the AWS internal community of AI subject matter experts

A day in the life
As an AI/ML Specialist Solutions Architect at AWS, you will work at the forefront of enterprise AI transformation, engaging with business leaders and technical teams to design solutions across Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI. Leveraging AWS's cloud infrastructure, you'll conduct executive-level discovery sessions, architect full-stack AI systems, and lead proof-of-concept implementations. Your role demands deep expertise in building scalable, secure, and cost-effective AI/ML solutions that meet enterprise governance and compliance standards. You'll translate complex customer requirements into robust technical architectures, develop best-practice content, and guide organizations in establishing responsible AI frameworks—delivering measurable business value through sustainable, production-grade AI solutions on AWS.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience, or degree in advanced technology
• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience with Data & Core AI/ML, deep learning, GenAI/LLMs, RAG systems and architecture, Agentic AI and autonomous systems
• Design, leading and implementing POC for AI solutions with customers
• Experience in communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal in Spanish & English

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AWS services
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
• Hands-on experience with large language model customization and fine-tuning, inference optimization
• Knowledge of agentic frameworks and AIOps/Agent Ops practices
• Knowledge of data structures, data modeling, and database schema design
