Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly effective candidate to identify, create, develop and integrate innovative technology to deliver the best operating, lowest cost infrastructure in the world.

This individual will lead the manufacturing operations of PCB (Printed Circuits Boards) needed for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies that meet our customers' rapidly growing infrastructure needs. Successful candidates will bring strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing process, PCB supply chains, PCB manufacturing operations, quality assurance operations, and provide oversight of outsourced manufacturing teams.

• Key job responsibilities
• Develop and implement Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Process & Systems Optimization for AWS hardware infrastructure.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives to shorten cycle times and improve overall yield.
• System Audits: Conduct regular audits of manufacturing systems and technical infrastructure to ensure high-performance standards.
• Understand PCB industry and technology trends.
• Identify key technology trends in the PCB industry and drive supplier product roadmaps and execute on strategic initiatives in those products.
• Responsible to provide weekly team updates, deliver executive level updates on a monthly basis, and will be responsible for vendor escalations in order to resolve any issues related to his/her category.
• Present to senior leadership via written narratives.

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional or military experience
• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years of enterprise scale infrastructure or development-based cloud programs/projects in a related industry experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
• Experience working with Advanced Compute technologies including, but not limited to: Accelerated Compute, High Performance Compute, Visual/Spatial Compute, and/or IoT.
• 6+ years of responding to requests for proposals (e.g., determining requirements, matching requirements to technical approach and solutions, developing solutions against requirements) experience
• 6+ years of experience in Semiconductor and/or Server Industry development and/or manufacturing
