Amazon Ads is seeking a Director for their Advertiser Success Team (AST). This person will lead a large, geographically distributed organization that is responsible for delighting our advertisers by proactively monitoring campaign health and providing recommendations to help maximize their marketing investment with Amazon Ads. This leader will be responsible for driving client service strategy and execution, and managing teams responsible for delivering on advertiser success.
This leader will lead the Account Specialists /Optimizer teams into a world-class organization of strategic consultants, who leverage AI and their strong analytical skills to provide valuable recommendations to advertisers with insights across all media channels. In parallel, this person will drive continuous improvements to automate or operationalize workflows, removing friction and increasing service impact to advertisers. This hire will define organizational and AI strategies, processes, tools, and incentives to maximize ROI and accelerate growth. This leader will oversee execution of their defined strategy, ensuring that the team is consistently delivering measurable results in advertiser adoption of shared recommendations, increasing the impact of team activities and other operational quality metrics. They will partner closely with other Sales and product leadership to establish joint goals and strategies to drive Advertiser Satisfaction.
The preferred location for this role is Bangalore, India.
- Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute Sales strategies tailored to advertiser needs, taking into account advertiser and product objectives
- Obtain ongoing stakeholder feedback to assess performance against business and organizational objectives
- Engage with Amazon Advertising’s executive leadership team and product/platform leadership to represent business results and advocate for customer and employee needs
- Work directly with cross-functional leaders, to drive organizational efficiencies and effectiveness
- Understand the Amazon Ads product suite, tools, and campaign management workflow and how our Ad Services organization integrates with each other
- Conduct resource management and fiscal year capacity planning
- Develop and implement tool and process improvements and best practices to scale for anticipated growth
- Drive senior management team and stakeholders to think how to evolve organization towards a three-year horizon
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in management, engineering or similar field
- Bachelor’s Degree with relevant functional experience
- 10+ years managing people and/or organizations
- Proven experience in executive digital advertising sales and/or services management
- Leadership experience in managing and developing large cross functional, multinational teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the digital advertising industry (display, search, programmatic)
- Successful management of remote teams who can work independently and deliver results
- Experience in the e-commerce world
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills as well as experience applying those skills in the advertising domain
- Experience using AI tools for decision making/productivity
