The Selling Partner Financial Technology team aims to enable every partner to thrive globally by providing a trusted, simple, and intuitive financial experience. We support Stores Partners with foundational capabilities for financial event onboarding, balance tracking, payouts, collections, risk reduction, and internal financial reporting.
We're seeking an innovative Software Development Manager to transform how millions of sellers worldwide manage their financial operations. In this pivotal role, you'll design innovative solutions that simplify complex financial processes, directly impacting Amazon's global selling platform and empowering entrepreneurs across 35+ international markets. Our projects have significant visibility and impact, directly tied to Amazon's profitability and growth.
As a technical leader on the team, you will be responsible for guiding your team through the design, development, testing, and deployment of a range of products. You will help build the roadmaps for software teams, developing cutting edge customer experiences. You will have sound technical acumen, excellent project management skills, great communication skills, and hire, build, and develop your team. You are a true owner - deeply interested in product design and you innovate relentlessly on behalf of our customers. You are a coach, a mentor and a leader who creates positive climate in the workspace. These projects have huge visibility and impact as those are tied very closely to Amazon’s profitability and growth. About the team

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D insurance), Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and other resources to improve health and well-being.
