The Data Center Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing all logistics operations within the data center environment, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, tracking, and distribution of IT hardware, spare parts, and related materials. This role requires a strong blend of supply chain expertise, technical knowledge, and people leadership to maintain operational excellence and support data center uptime.

Key job responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of logistics lead and specialist; manage scheduling, performance, and professional development

Inventory Management: Oversee end-to-end inventory lifecycle including receiving, warehousing, cycle counting, and disposition of data center hardware (server part, network equipment, storage devices, cables, optics, etc.)

Storage room management: set up a storage room for server part and network devices at data center and housekeeping based on 7S (5S + safety and security)

Supply Chain Coordination: Manage inbound/outbound logistics, coordinate with vendors and carriers, and ensure timely delivery of critical components to meet deployment schedules

Asset Tracking & Compliance: Maintain accurate asset tracking systems, ensure compliance with security protocols, and manage media destruction and disposal processes

Spare Parts Management: Ensure adequate safety stock levels, manage reorder points, and minimize stockouts of critical spare components

Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate service-level agreements, and manage purchase orders

Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reports to track logistics performance (e.g., SLA adherence, dwell time, inventory accuracy, cost per unit)

Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Data Center Operations (DCO), Data Center Engineering (DCEO), capacity planning, trade compliance team, and project teams to align logistics support with operational needs

Safety, Security & Compliance: Ensure all logistics operations comply with safety, standards, security and EHS requirements, and company policies

Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize inventory discrepancies

Data center facility environment with exposure to server rooms, loading docks, and warehouse areas

Flexibility to support 24/7 operations, including occasional off-hours and on-call responsibilities

Travel may be required (10–20%) for multi-site oversight or vendor meetings

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in supply chain management, engineering, business management or other relevant field
- Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, import/export operations, or data entry/data administration
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership while working cross functionally across several teams
- Experience in operations or inventory management
- Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data
- Experience in stakeholder management and communication management
- Experience in Business English skills, both verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies
- Knowledge of IT/technology transactions or equivalent
- Knowledge of Six Sigma tools, Lean techniques, PMP or similar standards preferred
- Knowledge of BI analytics, reporting or visualization tools like Tableau, AWS Quick Sight, Cognos or other third-party tools
- Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment
- Experience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware, or experience managing teams
