We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager for a strategic finance role with dual responsibility. First, it will support IMDb - world's most popular source for movie, TV, and celebrity content, attracting over 250 million unique visitors monthly - on all operational and financial strategy across multiple revenue streams. Second, this role leads FP&A function for Amazon Publisher Monetization team, which drives a muti-billion ads business across key Amazon publishers, and manages rhythm of the business them.

Key job responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Reporting

  • Partner with IMDb leaders to architect financial plans and analyses across advertising, IMDb Pro subscriptions, and data licensing revenue streams; own OP planning, MBRs, QBRs, headcount planning, and executive reporting

  • Build and maintain comprehensive financial models spanning the entire IMDb P&L—Op Ex, COGS, and revenue

  • Collaborate with Amazon Publisher Monetization finance teams to consolidate financials and execute MFRs, QFRs, goals meetings, and headcount tracking

  • Strategic Financial Analysis

  • Evaluate business cases and financial returns for strategic investments, developing frameworks to measure ROI and ensure alignment with organizational priorities

  • Lead the annual Goals mechanism to drive measurable performance outcomes in a continuously evolving business landscape

  • Champion process automation and innovation within the finance function, leveraging AI tools and advanced analytics to enhance forecasting accuracy and eliminate manual reporting cycles

About the team
APM team works to maximize ads revenue for all strategic Amazon businesses, including IMDb. The APM Finance team supports them achieve their charter through insightful analysis, forward looking planning, budgeting and variance analysis.

Basic Qualifications

  • 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)
  • 7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience
  • Experience with Tableau, Python, SQB, Quicksight, Cognos or or other BI packages

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, or CPA
  • Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes
  • Knowledge of Excel and Excel VBA at an expert level
  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results, or experience communicating results to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
