As a Demand Generation Representative (DGR) in the Customer Acquisition Center, you will leverage a highly-scalable digital engine to drive AWS adoption and market penetration across the Greater China Region (GCR). You will serve as the "tip-of-the-spear" for new customer engagement, leveraging AI-powered tools and data-driven approaches to identify high-quality pipeline opportunities and accelerate the customer's cloud journey with AWS. This is a high-velocity, customer-facing role focused on generating qualified opportunities and accelerating customer acquisition through digital engagement channels. AWS DGRs are a critical part of the business development process, serving as the starting point of an integrated talent engine that produces the next generation of business development leaders.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Articulate compelling value propositions around Amazon Web Services services and solutions;
  • Demonstrate excellent customer communications skills through digital channels;
  • Acquire and activate new customers while uncovering expansion opportunities within existing customer base as well as small deal closing to accelerate the sales cycle and contribute to future revenue growth;
  • Leverage an agile operating model and AI-powered tools to rapidly respond to evolving customer and business needs;
  • Act as market sensors to capture customer insights, patterns, and trends that inform organizational strategy and go-to-market campaigns;
  • Implement mechanisms that accelerate customer engagement and pipeline progression through programmatic approaches and repeatable solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in technology related sales, business development or equivalent
  • Experience in customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, and web-based meeting applications
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company, or experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
