• Minor refurbishment and upgrade works for building finishes, fixtures, fittings and equipment, fixed furniture and OPS equipment like Trolley, Cages, Carts
• Fire Alarm & Fire extinguishers regular checks.
• Maintenance, oiling, greasing of carts, trolleys, pump, rolling shutters.
• Attending regular Electrical works
• Height work, hot work permit to issue.

Key job responsibilities
This scope covers handling high-tech intelligent sorters, conveyors, and all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including sort slides, carts, cages, trolleys, and hand pallet trucks (CCTH). It also encompasses control hardware and software such as PLC, HMI, SCADA, and VFDs, with the ability to troubleshoot PLC code, complex fieldbus IO, and SCADA systems. Understanding of Warehouse Control Systems, telegrams, and integrated MHE conveyor systems within and outside the FC is essential. Experience in building, commissioning, or troubleshooting electrical controls and instrumentation panels is required. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols—Profi Bus, Profi Net, and Ethernet IP—along with barcode recognition technology is necessary. Responsibilities include reading and updating electrical/controls schematics, documentation, SOPs, and VSOPs, as well as analyzing metrics to identify system optimization opportunities. Familiarity with Change Management processes, machine safety regulations, and safe working practices is expected. The role requires working within a shift team, leading resolution of controls-related issues, and commissioning special-purpose machinery. A basic understanding of IT systems, including IP networking, server architecture, SQL databases, and experience in controls/electrical projects is essential.

A day in the life
