Amazon Advertising is the earth’s most customer centric advertising program and is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for brand advertisers, agencies, authors, and entrepreneurs. Our ad solutions—including sponsored, display, video, and custom ads—leverage Amazon’s innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage intended audiences throughout their daily journeys, helping advertisers build brand awareness, increase product sales, and more. This role will be based out of Bangalore, India.

Finance Team within AST is looking for an experienced professional with excellent analytical skills and good business acumen to develop and implement our supply planning tools and mechanisms in a fast-paced and innovative environment, at a global scale.

This role requires someone with good analytic skills and business acumen who will work with stakeholders on strategic planning/projects within AST. Some examples of project work may include support of 1Y/3Y AST sitewise capacity plan; planning models development, input volume forecasting and general project evaluation for 3rd party cost, quality, scale, flexibility and business continuity. The ideal candidate will have a good analytic background that enables him/her to manage global network planning, a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically about Advertising initiatives and the ability to persuade executives to build consensus on objectives.

Key job responsibilities
· Create a reliable and effective capacity plan for the AST (Ad Success Team)
· Understand the campaign life cycle and assess the capacity requirement for different product types
· Optimize capacity for the business across different country and vertical teams by balancing business impact, employee experience and cost effectiveness.
· Identify productive measures and build reporting
· Build and maintain KPIs that reliably reflect the end-customer experience
· Partner with recruiting, business leaders, data and analytics teams
· Create new reporting & analytic opportunities by analyzing and understanding key planning processes
· Thought leadership on integration of new products/level of services supported by AST.
· Document writing and presentations up to the director level.

About the team
The Advertiser Success Team (AST) is a dedicated team within Amazon Advertising that drives advertiser success across both the Large Customer Sales (LCS) and Global Growth Sales (GGS) segments. We work with advertisers on their search and display (managed and self service) campaigns enabling success through our optimization and campaign management services that include adding KWs, ASINs, review budget, and provide campaign strategies aligned to advertiser goals." The team supports a broad suite of ad products — including Sponsored Products (SP), Sponsored Brands (SB), Sponsored Display (SD), and Managed Display — serving WW Sellers and Vendors across regions

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in business analytics with demonstrated proficiency in quantitative analysis using SQL, databases, and Excel in a business environment
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Engineering/Economics
  • Experience using Excel at an advanced level including practical knowledge of VBA/macros and advanced Excel functions
  • 5+ years of supply chain management, planning, strategic sourcing, commodity management or program management experience
  • Experience working with databases and SQL

Preferred Qualifications

  • · Received a Master's degree · Operations research or capacity planning experience · Some programming experience is a plus to automate tools whenever appropriate · Advertising industry experience · Knowledge of Quick Sight/ Tableau · Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. · Proven problem solving skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills · Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment while delivering results (Service Level and occupancy goals, Finance objectives)
