Amazon's Finance Operations, Accounting & Analysis team is a fast-paced, team-focused, dynamic environment and delivering great experiences for our customers is top priority. is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support our Accounting team.

The Accounting Analyst in this position will be responsible of month end closing activities for multiple accounts, preparation of monthly/quarterly/annually reconciliations. This position will be key in the support to Accounting Leadership in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures and policies. On controllership front, the Accounting Analyst will ensure all processes are compliance respective Accounting Standards. This position will also play an important role in promoting systems/process development within departments to ensure ongoing efficiency and control improvements.

The successful candidate will have a strong desire to innovate processes and exceed expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, including data entry, payroll runs, and reconciliation of payroll records
  • Familiarity with end-to-end payroll cycles (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly), including timesheet validation, deductions, and net pay calculations
  • Basic knowledge of payroll tax withholdings, social security contributions, and statutory deductions applicable to local labor law
  • Ability to identify and escalate payroll discrepancies or errors in a timely manner Knowledge in SAP Payroll or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data validation) and other MS Office tools
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential employee compensation and personal data with discretion
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record management
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet recurring payroll deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

    • Deep Knowledge of personal income tax legislation and labor law
    • Familiar with payroll software (SAP, Peoplesoft, Sharepoint, Workday, ADP software and T&A systems)
