We are seeking a hands-on Delivery Consultant with deep software engineering or cloud architecture expertise to deliver complex technical consulting engagements within AWS Professional Services. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical depth with proven product engineering capabilities, possessing both the software development background to work with complex architectures and code, and the curiosity to invent on behalf of our customers and leverage AWS services particularly in AI and ML. Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby experience
• 5+ years of leading development of applications backed by AWS services or using other cloud based technologies and services experience
• 5+ years experience of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies building full stack applications.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform), CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodeBuild, GitHub Actions), and Dev-ops practices
• Experience with distributed systems, micro-services architecture, and event-driven patterns with proven experience implementing large-scale solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong background in API design and implementation (e.g. REST, GraphQL, gRPC). Experience working with Identity protocols such as (e.g. OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0 )
• Knowledge of vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, embedding pipelines
• Understanding of AI agent architectures, development patterns, protocols (e.g. MCP, A2A) and multi-agent systems. Expertise in RAG patterns, vector databases, and prompt engineering
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, Amazon ECS, Kubernetes) and modern development practices
• Strong proficiency in observability and monitoring tools (e.g. Open Telemetry, Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana) with focus on operational excellence
