We're looking for engineers who want to shape this transformation. You'll work alongside exceptional talent solving novel problems at the intersection of AI and software engineering. The challenges are unique: orchestrating AI workflows across dozens of models and providers, building context and memory systems that make every interaction smarter than the last, and scaling it all to meet AWS's exacting standards for reliability and security.

Your impact will be immediate and visible. You'll ship features that directly improve how developers work — from launching new models in hours, to building intelligent routing that keeps Kiro available even when upstream providers aren't, to designing the memory layer that makes Kiro genuinely understand your project. These aren't incremental improvements; they're the building blocks of a new category of developer tool.

You'll work across distributed systems, real-time streaming, multi-model orchestration, and AI infrastructure at scale. Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
