You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Key job responsibilities
HVAC Systems Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of: 1/ DX (Direct
Expansion) units. 2/ Split AC systems. 3/ Ductable AC units. 4/ VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems. 5/ Exhaust fans. 6/
Dedicated Air Handling Units (DAHUs). 7/ Conduct refrigeration leak testing. Chilled Water System: 1/ Chillers. 2/ Pumps. 3/
Motorized valves. 4/ Dampers and actuators. 5/ Chemical dosing systems. 6/ Make-up tank systems. Fire Safety Systems: 1/
Fire hydrant systems. 2/ Sprinkler systems. 3/ Emergency response equipment. 4/ Ensure compliance with fire safety
regulations. Generator Systems: A-check, B-check, C-check and D-check.
Technical Testing & Diagnostics. Conduct non-destructive testing including: 1/ Thermography, 2/ Eddy current test and 3/
Ultrasonic Testing.
Safety & Risk Management: 1/ Ensure personnel safety and infrastructure protection. 2/ Implement and maintain risk
management protocols. 3/ Comply with safety regulations and standards.
Vendor Management: 1/ Coordinate with vendors for spare parts availability. 2/ Support DCEO in procurement processes. 3/
Facilitate technical training and knowledge sharing sessions. 4/ Manage work order approvals.
Planning & Documentation: 1/ Prepare and manage 52-week preventive maintenance calendars. 2/ Develop and update
MOPs (Method of Procedure), Create SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). 3/ Prepare detailed equipment checklists. 4/
Track observations and implement cost-saving innovations.
Daily Operations: 1/ Execute cluster-level equipment maintenance. 2/ Collaborate with DCEO for maintenance planning. 3/
Document and report equipment observations. 4/ Create corrective work orders as needed. 5/ Coordinate with EAM team for
scope/process changes. 6/ Provide emergency troubleshooting support. Inventory Management: 1/ Conduct internal spares
audits. 2/ Ensure adequate spare parts availability. 3/ Monitor and maintain EAM metrics.

A day in the life
1/ Execute cluster-level equipment maintenance. 2/ Collaborate with DCEO for maintenance planning. 3/
Document and report equipment observations. 4/ Create corrective work orders as needed. 5/ Coordinate with EAM team for
scope/process changes. 6/ Provide emergency troubleshooting support. Inventory Management: 1/ Conduct internal spares
audits. 2/ Ensure adequate spare parts availability. 3/ Monitor and maintain EAM metrics.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of data center engineering or operations experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of data center engineering or operations experience
  • operating engineering license such as DC II, DC III, or equivalent
  • Experience in operations and on-call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities
