This role owns defining the AWS network ASIC strategy. This role requires understanding current and future customer workloads that our network must support and translating these needs into required and desired ASIC features and functionality. Once internally aligned the person in this role will engage with multiple technology suppliers to understand technology trends and to influence future ASIC design to ensure AWS has the right network silicon that can be sourced from multiple suppliers to meet our customer needs.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of network development experience.
• 10+ years of ASIC experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and proven methodologies for the full software development process (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
