The Finance manager will be a part of the high-visibility, growth-oriented, and dynamic Finance Operations, Global Data & Analytics (GDA) team. The GDA team are seeking an exceptionally talented and deeply focused Finance manager who can build reporting objects, and uses financial analytics to influence business outcomes. The role will develop analytical solutions that empower one of the world’s largest Account Receivables and Payables team to operate at scale, and resolve process defects. The role will navigate ambiguity to rapidly build their knowledge of Amazon’s “Order to Cash” and “Procure to Pay” processes (and their accompanying data sets) to become a trusted analytics partner for our 2,000+ business partners across Finance Operations Headquarters and Service Centers.

• Key job responsibilities
• Business partner with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable leaders across Service Centers and Headquarters locations to identify, plan and execute on analytical opportunities that enable identification and reduction of transactional defects and work drivers, goal performance measurements, new business expansion health metrics, and operational analysis.
• Proactively perform advanced analytics and financial analysis that support the business priorities work, identify anomalies, and improve business process.
• Support the BTS region with specific reporting requirements.
• Own the Fin Ops GDA Retail AR and AP development roadmap.
• Use of Quick Sight/SQL to deliver valuable insights, and invent and simplify.
• Business partner with stakeholders to align, document, and govern metric definitions.
• Participate in cross-team knowledge sharing.
• Creating queries and reporting on-demand.
• Develop solutions using low code Quick capabilities and develop AI literacy among business stakeholders.

Base pay for this position starts from EUR 3.200+ gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements, there will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. A day in the life
The Finance Manager will be in charge of building high-performing analytics products relying on SQL, Excel and Quick Sight. The role will business partner across global Finance Operations to become an expert in core business processes, and will work backwards to enhance metric governance, identify and action finance analytical opportunities, and leverage data to build compelling business cases that influence our operations. SQL skills (Intermediate / Expert level) is a must to deliver on Job 1 in this role. Sr. FA will focus on ensuring customers adopt the right GDA products, enabling self service capabilities aligned to their use cases, and delivering high priority repeatable dashboards and analyses that support fast decision making, goal measurement, and improved customer experience. The Finance Manager will obsess over Customers, and partner with them throughout business review mechanisms and provide subject matter expertise to identify opportunities for analytics, automation, and GenAI solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, business analytics, or related field
• Experience owning end-to-end financial planning, reporting, and data-driven business analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, scenario analysis, large dataset manipulation)
• Experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Quick Sight)
• Working knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages
• Experience working with large, complex datasets across multiple systems
• Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, and KPI development
• Experience partnering with senior business leaders to drive data-backed decisions
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
