AI Solutions Architect, DOTS

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to serve as the on-the-ground AI strategy and enablement lead for Device Ops operations teams in China. This person will operate with high autonomy, bridging the gap between our core AI platform team and the business teams they serve — identifying opportunities, shaping solutions, and driving adoption of AI capabilities across the supply chain. This role goes beyond reactive solution design. We need someone who proactively seeks out opportunities, influences strategy, and acts as an autonomous extension of the core team in a different geography. Think: SA technical bar + product strategist mindset + evangelist energy.

Key job responsibilities
1. AI Evangelism & Enablement — Proactively engage Device Ops operations teams in China to drive awareness, understanding, and adoption of the team's AI initiatives (e.g., Pulse agent builder, intelligent supply chain tools).

2. Industry & Technology Thought Leadership — Stay current on external AI trends, supply chain innovations in consumer electronics, and internal Amazon AI capabilities. Translate these into actionable opportunities for the business.

3. Business-to-Technology Integration — Identify business problems across operations teams and map them to the core team's AI capabilities. Partner with product and engineering to design solutions that address real operational needs.

4. Product Roadmap & Strategy Influence — Inform the product roadmap based on voice of the customer, industry trends, and areas of partnership. Serve as the "eyes and ears" for the platform team in the China region.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 4+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience
• Experience in system design
• Experience working proactively and independently, meeting deadlines, and delivering on projects and tasks
• Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
• Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their practical application in operations/supply chain

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
• Experience in supply chain, operations, or consumer electronics is a strong plus
