Amazon is seeking a Manager, Public Policy to lead external engagement across a large and diverse portfolio of trade associations, think tanks, and nonprofits in Washington, DC. This is a fast-paced role spanning a wide range of policy issues. You will closely with colleagues across the public policy team to align external engagement with business priorities.

• Key job responsibilities
• Build and manage relationships with trade associations, think tanks, and nonprofits across the ideological spectrum.
• Design and execute policy campaigns, aligning internal teams and external partners around shared objectives.
• Represent Amazon at conferences, coalition meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
• Develop talking points, coalition letters, and advocacy materials

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 8+ years of public policy experience
• An ability and desire to travel is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building and managing relationships with trade associations, think tanks, or nonprofits or equivalent experience within such an organization managing corporate partnerships
• Proven ability to apply political judgment to design campaigns; identifying the right partners, tactics, and timing to drive impact
• Ability to translate complex legislation and regulation into clear explanations of real-world impact; on consumers, small businesses, and other constituencies that matter

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
